Center for Youth Ministry Training (now Ministry Leadership Center)
More than a logo, Center for Youth Ministry Training's conference design created a shared space—giving leaders a theme they could gather around, build from, and carry forward.
Project Summary
Before stepping into a new name and broader mission as Ministry Leadership Center, Center for Youth Ministry Training (CYMT) was preparing for its annual Children & Youth Ministry Conference. The 2024 theme—"Building Transformational Ministries"—was about more than programming. It was about creating meaningful, faith-filled spaces for youth to grow.
The team needed a brand identity that would make the theme feel real, warm, and inspiring—and that would work across flyers, emails, and digital materials. Acton Circle stepped in to design a logo that reflected the heart of the event while staying true to CYMT’s visual identity.
Before
The theme was clear, but the visual direction hadn’t taken shape yet. CYMT needed:
- A visual that captured the idea of building faith-centered programs
- A warm, professional tone that would connect with ministry leaders
- Design flexibility for use across email, flyers, and promotional materials
- Design support that could turn their theme into something tangible
After
Acton Circle delivered three distinct logo concepts, each interpreting the “building” theme with approachability and heart. The final direction, selected by the client, leaned more playful and energetic—bringing a sense of movement and invitation.
Deliverables included:
- 3 logo directions exploring structure, collaboration, and symbolic growth
- Concepts featuring building blocks, warm color palettes, and soft typography
- Versions optimized for digital and print use
- A final logo that energized the event and supported clear promotion
The conference branding made the event feel welcoming, engaging, and visually aligned with their message of transformation.
