East Bay Community Foundation (EBCF)
Accessible and cohesive design helped EBCF keep donors and partners aligned with a strong brand presence grounded in racial equity.
Project Summary
East Bay Community Foundation advances racial justice through arts, capacity building, community organizing, and inclusive economic models—uniting donors and partners across the East Bay around a shared mission of equity.
As their influence grew, so did the demand for high-quality, mission-aligned design. Their VP of Marketing was juggling design tasks directly—a clear sign that the team needed consistent creative support. That’s where Acton Circle stepped in: to function as an outsourced design partner that felt like an extension of their in-house team.
EBCF faced:
- A growing volume of monthly design needs without dedicated support
- Accessibility gaps in brand guidelines and donor materials
- Marketing tasks taking time away from leadership and strategy
- Event and community-facing collateral that lacked polish and cohesion

Through our monthly partnership, we provided both strategic guidance and hands-on design execution. By enhancing accessibility, modernizing collateral, and streamlining donor and event materials, we helped EBCF’s team reclaim time for strategy while ensuring their mission showed up with professionalism and impact.
