A Process Built for Foundation Success
Lay the groundwork
First, we get everything set up for a smooth partnership. We create your Trello board, schedule our first strategy call, and gather your brand assets. Think of it as building the foundation for great work together.
Chart the course
In our monthly strategy sessions, we map out priorities and set clear goals. We discuss upcoming projects, review what's working, and make sure our creative energy is focused on what matters most to your mission.
Bring it to life
This is where your vision comes to life! Each month, we bring your brand to life through custom designs—from social posts that spark engagement to donor materials that inspire giving. We collaborate closely, incorporate your feedback, and deliver designs that drive real impact.
Got questions?
Great news. We’ve got answers!
How do the monthly support packages work?
Each month, we hold a strategy meeting to collaboratively load up your design queue for the month, and we’ll keep working 1-2 projects at a time.
Q: Can you handle last-minute or urgent projects?
While we love to plan ahead for the best results, we understand that urgent needs come up. That's why we build flexibility into our monthly support. For significant last-minute projects (like a major grant proposal or event materials), we can usually accommodate by adjusting our project queue—just note there may be a rush fee ($250) depending on the timeline and scope.
Will I get a guaranteed amount of hours/designs each month?
We have found that on average our clients complete around 3-6 projects per month. Since different projects (e.g. social post vs. presentation) take varying amounts of time, we will discuss what can achieve each month in our strategy calls.
Who are our monthly support packages best for?
Our monthly support packages are perfect for organizations that have a steady flow of design needs they want the right person to tackle. They're great for organizations that can plan ahead and don't get swamped with surprise projects all the time.
If you've got a backlog of design work or ongoing projects you want to chip away at, these packages are your best bet. They're ideal for teams who like to stay on top of their design game without the stress of last-minute rushes.
Basically, if you're into smooth sailing rather than firefighting when it comes to your design needs, our monthly support is right up your alley.
Is there a minimum commitment?
While we don't require a long-term contract, we do have a one-time setup fee ($500). This initial investment allows us to dive deep into your brand, create custom designs, set-up our shared workspace, and get your team up to speed. It's the foundation for all our work together, ensuring we can deliver the best possible results for your nonprofit from day one.
What's your cancellation policy?
We require a 30-day notice to switch plans, pause, or cancel services. This policy allows us to properly manage your account and ensure a seamless transition if changes are needed, maintaining the quality of service your nonprofit deserves throughout our partnership.
Why shouldn’t I just hire a full-time designer?
With our monthly support service, you get the expertise of a professional design team without the hefty employee commitment involving payroll, benefits, continuous training, etc. It's like having your very own design dream team without the HR headaches.
Can we do a trial project first before commiting?
We understand wanting to make sure we're the right fit! Since our monthly design support is flexible with no long-term contract, you can start with one month to experience our partnership firsthand. Most clients find they get incredible value even in that first month as we hit the ground running with their most pressing design needs.
Additionally, we encourage you to read the reviews and testimonials from our satisfied clients on our website and Google Reviews page to get a sense of the level of service and results we consistently deliver.
Make a bigger impact with Acton Circle.

How does the Fractional Creative Team service work?
Each month, we hold a strategy meeting to collaboratively load up your design queue. You can make adjustments to your queue throughout the month, and we’ll keep working 1-2 projects at a time.
Will I get a guaranteed amount of hours/designs each month?
We have found that on average our clients complete around 3-6 projects per month. Since different projects (e.g. social post vs. slide-deck) take varying amounts of time, we will discuss what can achieve each month in our strategy calls.
What basic website updates do you cover?
Basic website updates encompass text revisions, image replacements, button modifications, and other essential tweaks, providing you with a hassle-free solution for maintaining a polished and up-to-date online presence.
Who is the Fractional Creative Team service best for?
Organizations that get the most out of this service are those who have a steady stream of design needs in their organization that they’ve been ready (like yesterday) to get the right person to work on. If you only have a design need pop up once in a blue moon, this would not be the right solution for you.
Why shouldn’t I just hire a full-time designer?
Well, you have to manage them closely. Additionally, they still might not be an expert in all the different disciplines of design you need to bring your brand to life. When you partner with our Fractional Creative Team, you’ll have a core team of a senior-level designer, creative director, illustrator, proofreader, and project manage that you can tap into when needed. We will get to know your organization inside out and collaboratively cross your projects over the finish line.
Is there a minimum commitment?
While we don't require a minimum commitment to our Fractional Creative Team service, our clients typically engage with us for an average of 2+ years. We understand the importance of integration with your team, and while we value being seamlessly aligned, we also recognize the potential for slower periods during certain times of the year. This flexible service allows us to adapt to your evolving needs, so you can press pause when you need to.
